General Requirements
Application is open only to non-Chinese citizens who are in good health.
Educational Background and Age Limit
The applicant for a master's program must be under the age of 35 and has a bachelor's degree.
The applicant for a doctoral program must be under the age of 40 and has a master's degree.
Language Requirements
The applicants must satisfy one of the following requirements:
1. Graduates from universities of English-speaking countries.
2. Graduates from universities where English is the official language.
3. IELTS: overall grade of 6.0 or above.
4. TOEFL: overall score of 80 or above.
Application Methods
Make a package of all application documents, then submit the package along with applicant's information list to IWHR official email address: graduateoffice@iwhr.com.
General Procedure of the Whole Application Process
1. Check the latest application details on IWHR website.
2. Choose your program and find a preferred supervisor.
3. Contact the supervisor and acquire the pre-acceptance letter.
4. Prepare your supporting documents and submit them by email.
5. Qualification Check and Formal Interview.
6. Provisional admission list after IWHR reviews with a public notice.
Important Dates
Application Deadline
Applicants for academic degree programs shall submit their application materials before 30th April 2026.
Admission Notice Time
Between 10th June and 15th July 2026.
Beginning of the Semester
In early September 2026 (See the specific date on the admission notice).
