Summary:
The launch of the World Water Development Report (WWDR) is a prominent event at the World Water Forum as the WWDR represents the widest collaboration of partners and agencies across the UN system. UNESCO's Director-General, Ms Irina Bokova, will launch the widely anticipated 4th edition (WWDR4), ‘Managing Water under Uncertainty and Risk’ on the first day (12 March) of the 6th World Water Forum, in Marseille, France. The ceremony will include speeches from the incoming Chair of UN-Water, Michel Jarraud, as well as other high-level speakers, and a presentation on the findings presented in the Report by WWAP Coordinator, Olcay Unver.
