Summary: The aim of the International Symposium (I2SM) is to get together academics, students and professionals working on Sediments management to discuss the current state-of-the-art, with particular emphasis on beneficial use in different fields. The Symposium is organised by AEACI and Ecole des Mines de Douai.     At this stage, we have the pleasure to inform you that the deadline for the abstract submission for I2SM is October 30th, 2011.  The abstracts should be submitted by E-mail to: rsinghal@barc.gov.in & i2sm-india-2012@mines-douai.fr      Please note that selected papers will be published in international peer reviewed journals. Poster presentations are also encouraged, since papers accompanying a poster will be equally considered for publication.
