SedNet is organizing a one day symposium on Friday November 24th, 2006 in Venice, Italy entitled: "Sediment key-issues between the river and the sea". This symposium is aimed at discussing and defining the SCIENTIFIC sediment key-issues at stake in the transition area between the river basin and the marine system. The outcome will be used to draft a SedNet position paper on this issue.
